Get Glowing! Bioluminescence!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Have you ever wondered why some ocean animals’ glow or fireflies light up? This phenomenon is due to a chemical reaction called “bioluminescence.” As educators, we are always looking for engaging curricula and ideas. If you want to integrate elements of biology, chemistry, writing, research, and engineering that align with the ALCOS, we have a fun and exciting unit for you! We can help you introduce students to the captivating world of bioluminescence and its significance in marine ecosystems, enhancing their understanding of basic science concepts through exploration and collaboration.
