Everyday educators find themselves navigating the challenges that our students bring to the classroom due to online behavior...two of the biggest issues faced daily are cyberbullying and sending of inappropriate content. This comprehensive program dives into various aspects of digital citizenship, encompassing three critical topics such as the delicate balance between self-confidence and self-worth, the potential hazards associated with excessive or inappropriate sharing, and a profound exploration of the root causes behind cyberbullying incidents. By diving into the complicated dynamics of self-confidence versus self-worth, this program aims to empower educators and thus students to develop a healthy sense of self-esteem and self-assurance in the digital space.Through thoughtful discussions and engaging activities, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of helping students to navigate their own worth while on social media platforms with confidence and resilience. The program also addresses the potential pitfalls of over sharing and inappropriate sharing on social media platforms. This has become a pressing issue in most schools and attendees will learn how to best educate students in this area. Last the program seeks to uncover the underlying reasons behind cyberbullying incidents.
