Regional Coordinator
Connie Arnold currently serves as a Regional Coordinator for the Office of Mathematics Improvement (OMI) at the Alabama State Department of Education. Mrs. Arnold has over 15 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher and a Secondary Math Specialist with the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI). Connie’s goal in education is for all students to have a chance to learn and grow to their fullest potential. She feels equitable education is needed for all students. 
 
Mrs. Arnold earned her undergraduate and her graduate degree in Elementary Education from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. She received a second master’s degree in Library Media and Instructional Leadership certification from the University of West Alabama. She holds a National Certificate for STEM Teaching (NCST). Mrs. Arnold is married to her husband, James Arnold, and they have one child, Jamirah Arnold.
